Welcome To The Sexy Directory!

Your curated guide to better sex, deeper intimacy, and experiences that actually turn you on.

I’m Arielle Zadok, producer, intimacy coordinator, and host of Birds & Bees Don’t Fck. With two decades in the film industry, multiple certifications in health and sexuality, and a serious love of travel, I know how to bring a vision to life and create experiences you won’t soon forget.

Inside, you’ll find pleasure products that are actually worth buying, honest previews of places like the Moulin Rouge or the Getty Villa before you take a date there, and open conversations about sex and intimacy without the censorship, the fluff, or the shame.

If you’ve been craving better resources, better experiences, and a space where you can explore all of this freely, you’re in the right place.

What You’ll Find Inside (for Free)

This is a judgment-free zone for the curious and the adventurous. Whether you're here for the show, looking for somewhere worth taking a date, or trying to figure out what's actually worth buying, everything inside is honest, curated, and designed to make your life a little more pleasurable.

💋 Birds & Bees Don’t Fck

Birds & Bees Don't Fck is a candid show about sex, relationships, intimacy, desire, kink, consent, and everything else we were never properly taught. New episodes drop every Wednesday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and wherever you listen.

Like to watch? Join us on YouTube for the live watch party every Wednesday at 5p PT / 8p ET.

Each month, I'll post a roundup here so you never lose track of what's been covered.

📍 Date Worthy

Places worth going, seen through a romantic and erotic lens. These aren’t just date spots, they’re interesting experiences, unusual destinations, and anywhere worth knowing about before you take someone there (or go alone). From the Moulin Rouge to the Museum of Sex to a traveling musician making music using only mushrooms in a church (yes, I’m serious. Yes it’s cool AF), if I’ve been there, I’ll tell you exactly what to expect.

🌹 Recommendations

Honest takes on pleasure products, books, and programs worth your time, your money, and your body. Everything recommended here comes with a real opinion, not a press release. Sometimes that's me, sometimes it's a voice I trust. Either way, if it's here, it's worth knowing about.

About Arielle

I’m Arielle Zadok, ABS. Producer, board-certified sexologist, intimacy coordinator, burlesque performer, and kid’s improviser. Yes, all of it.

I spent most of my career as a producer and 1st AD in film, television, and advertising, working with brands like MLB, Jordan, Disney, ESPN, and Nickelodeon, among many others. Alongside production I built a parallel life in wellness, becoming a certified holistic health coach in 2014. The two worlds always overlapped more than people expected. Being a holistic health coach absolutely informed who I was as a producer, and how I ran sets as a 1st AD.

In 2020 I stepped into the biggest production of my career, being a part of a small team of leaders who built and lead the Health and Safety department at Disney Television throughout the pandemic. A small team of six ultimately oversaw more than 100 managers and supervisors across dozens of shows, keeping productions running while the world shut down. It was the job that required everything I had, and then some.

While I was at Disney, I completed my first sex educator certification in 2021, and from there became a certified intimacy coordinator and earned a second sex educator certification becoming a board-certified sexologist. I spent years going as deep as I could into sex, intimacy, relationships, and human behavior. Including becoming the Consent Director for both The Play in Los Angeles, and Top Floor in NYC.

Now I’m back to where I’ve always belonged. Producing. But I’m bringing everything with me. My work has always lived at the intersection of culture, performance, and human behavior. Sports, music, entertainment, sexuality. I produce for cultural moments, movements, and brands. That’s what Ruby Island Media is built for.

Plus, I love the stage myself. As a burlesque performer and MC, I’m Miss Ella D’Ville, and as a long running cast member of the Rockin’ Awesome Improv Show, which was first developed at The Second City Hollywood, I’m just a slightly sillier version of myself.

Travel is in my blood. I’m the daughter of two immigrants from two very different countries, have produced jobs around the country and around the world, and lived in New Zealand for a few years where I fell in love with a part of the world that will always feel like home in ways I could never explain. When I’m not on set, on stage, or behind a microphone, I’m probably planning my next trip, driving my 1974 MGB through the LA canyons, or being supervised by Ruby, my black cat, and Rosie, my shih tzu, who came home with me from New Zealand.

All of this led me to Ruby Island Media. Named after a small island in Lake Wanaka, New Zealand, it's a production company built at the intersection of culture, creativity, and human connection. Independent, intentional, and a little bit away from the mainstream.

The Sexy Directory is the publication arm of Ruby Island Media, where the content, the curiosity, and the conversation live.

I’m glad you’re here.

xx Arielle
